Bare-Naked Birding
LOCATION: TBD
Leader: Jennifer Fendya
Ted Floyd, editor of Birding magazine, has done much to promote birding without binoculars AKA "bare-naked birding," coined by Ted Lee Eubanks, photographer, avitourism developer, and designer of the world's first birding trail. The Teds recommend that we not constrain our direct experience of nature with guidebooks and field glasses but use our innate senses to synchronize eye-mind-heart-world, learning eventually to intuit what's present to us in every place and season. Jennifer Fendya, certified forest bathing guide and beginning birder, will lead this program.
