Aquarium of Niagara
The Aquarium is once again partnering with the BON international bird festival to celebrate the incredible diversity of bird species that pass through the Niagara River Corridor. Visit the Aquarium to learn about some of the notable birds that overwinter in the region. Get a crash course in birding basics, then test your knowledge by finding and identifying images of birds located around the Aquarium.

- Scavenger hunt
- Activities:
- Basics of birding table: what you will need, how to ID birds, migratory paths of birds
- Bird Adaptations: bird beak activity, bird wing design
- Conservation call-out: What can you do to help birds? (AZA SAFE- North American Songbird action plan)
- Guests will color a bird with their name and action, then place on a “tree” (wall)
- Call to action at daily presentations; promoting BON events in area.
